教材简析

本单元是以“参加聚会”为话题,开展教学活动。通过谈论某个推断,学习if以引导的条件状语从句。通过丰富多彩的语言实践,既掌握了flower, against, chance, tonight等词的用法,又在语言情景中对 if 状语从句主句用将来时,从句用一般现在时进行了充分的操练。与此同时,我们还要学习许多新词如jeans, organize, agent, lawyer 等。引导学生用If引导的条件状语从句来谈论事件之间的因果关系,并分析得出处理决定,或给出解决的意见。从而培养听力,口语交际及逻辑判断的能力。 进一步了解有关国内外一些特殊职业情况,培养协调能力和合作精神,体会学习英语的乐趣,树立远大的目标,并为之不懈地努力。

重难点;

(1)条件状语从句通常由连词if引导,意为“如果、假如”,主句不能用be going to表示将来,而应该用shall,will。
  If you leave now, you are never going to regret it. (错误)
  If you leave now, you will never regret it. (正确)
 (2)if “如果”,引导条件状语从句,主句用一般将来时,从句则用一般现在时,如:
  If it rains tomorrow, I shan’t climb the hills.
  注意宾语从句中的if与条件状语从句if的区别。宾语从句中的if“是否”相当于 whether,引导宾语从句,时态需根据语境确定。
  I don't know if it will rain tomorrow. 我不知道明天是否会下雨。

 

 

八年级学生已经学过一般将来时态和一般现在时态,已了解了这两种时态的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句等形式。首次接触if引导的条件状语从句,在接受上会有一些难度,这就要求教师在引入的时候要多从学生的角度思考。在口语运用中判断if条件句的主句、从句也许会存在一定的困难。在运用一般将来时和一般现在时态也许会产生混淆。

语法介绍:if 引导的条件状语从句

1、含义: if引导的句子在复合句中表示条件,做主句的条件状语,因此称为条件状语从句。

2、结构:仔细观察以下例句,然后补全下面结论所缺部分。

1)If it doesn’rain tommorrow,I’ll go to the park.

2)My sister will go shopping with you if she has time tommorrow.

结论:从句可以放在主句前或主句后。从前主后逗号隔开,主前从后if连接.

3、if引导的条件状语从句与主句的时态:主三从现

1)主将从现:如果主句是一般将来时,从句则用一般现在时表将来。

例:If it rains tomorrow,I will stay at home.

2) 主情从现:主句含有must,may,can等情态动词,从句用一般现在时表将来。

例: You must stop if the traffic light is red.

3)主祈从现:如果主句是祈使句,从句用一般现在时表将来。

例:Please put up your hands if you have any questions.

 

 

 

 

1、if引导的条件状语从句可用简略结构。

I’m for the decision if you are ( for the decision).

If (it is )possible, I’ll pick you up at the station.

2、if引导的条件状语从句不用some或some开头的不定代词,用any或any开头的不定代词.

I have no questions now. If (I have) any, I’ll ask you again.

Please ring me if (you have) anything.

3、注意区分if引导的条件状语从句和宾语从句。

--How is the weather tomorrow?

--I don’t know if it _______ tomorrow.

--Well, if it ______, I won’t go for a picnic with you.

4、if引导的条件状语从句可与“祈使句+and/or+简单句”互换。

注意:如果if 引导的从句中用了will,那么will在此处不是助动词,而是情态动词,表示意愿。
